Evaluation

Within our production we created a one minute video which is based around the whole purpose of teenagers and people meeting online and not expecting what they are expecting. The reason why we  choose this subject becuase we wanted to be able to show the type of activities that is surrounding us. But also we wanted to protray the type of things which are done when people use social netoworks such as Facebook and all sorts. We wanted to make our production in the category of "Romcom"

Target Audience:
Our main audience was people who love watching romcoms and people who enjoy watching things which are based around ordinary peoples life, however in a film based section. So our target audience would be people at the age of 16- 30 who use facebook and other types of social website. We choose these specific people as they would be able to enage with the film, but also they would be able to connect with the whole purpose of the one minute film. In my opinion i believe that our film was successful and we have set and aimed at the right target audience, this was successful as we shown the film to people at those age group and they believe that the production is "funny, true, realistic and fantastic". From the information gathered from the audience, we belive that our production was very successful according to when it was aiming at the specific type of target audience.

Team work:
I admit that the group was very good and listened to each others views when the production was being made. We toke part in filming and editing the video, in  order for all of us to improve and also to be more better with our editing skills and filming skills. We also toke part in gathering information and also gathering equiptment and actors in order to make our production and to be able to make a succesful piece. Each and every person within the group made sure that everyone was on task and that we all made sure that no one was behind. We all had a strong communciation, as we all comunnicated out of lesson in order to make this production successful. We toke roles in editing, filming and writing, however we all based the whole production both written and filimg the same, as we all toke areas in the writting to make and all toke a piece in the film. We toke roles which include pre-production which was set by Samsia, Post-production which was carried out myself and Production which was carried out by Shuab.

Problems:
The type of problems we had was the characters, we had a problem at the beginning where we need to get

On the date:28 /01/13

On this date, i created a blog highlighting the diffferent types of location we would of set out. We did this, so that it would be more easier for us to be able to create our production. The reason why we choose these types of location was becuase we wanted to emphasis the more oridinary lifestyle of both the characters and also so that the production can create a more realistic term.

Pre-production 1.6

Location :

Within this blogspot i would be showing the different types of locations we used within our production in order to finish our master piece. We have various types of locations both outdoors and indoors.

Houses:
We located the production piece in two different households and they both were located at different areas, in order to create that more realistic feel within the productions. We used 2 different households in order to show the two different indiviual lifestyles.

Bedrooms:
We used two different types of bedrooms becuase we wanted to show that we have two differnet people communicating, but also so that the viewers can enage with the viewers. We had two different bedrooms in order to show the male and female characters.

Park:

we also set out production within a park, as we wanted to show a more realistic area where people would go on a date or they would go out and meet someone. The park was used as a "secert" place where the teenagers can go out and meet up without anyone being there. The park also was used, so create a ordinary lifestyle of two teenage lovers.

On the date: 7th January 2013

Within this date, we made sure that within our production all the work was complete by this date and that everything was added to our video. We had few problems of finding out footage, we made sure that all the footage that was made the other week was collected and found in order to add to our video.

As we completed the video, we made some few adjustments to our pre-production and checked if we did everything which was asked for. Within this lesson, it was mainly a catch-up lesson with a bit of sample finishing of our production.

On this date : 31/01/13

On this date, due to bad weather we stayed in. We continued editing the scenes we collected on the date 17th January 2013, so we was editing and adding different features within our film. We made sure that within the video, there was appropriate music which would keep the viewers entertained. As there was bad weather in the morning, when the weather got better and cleared, we started shooting the last scene within the last footage.

We went to the park, the weather was kinda better, but however we didn't have time, so we started filming the area where the two characters meet up. Within this scene we made sure that the whole point and moral of the film was met.

On the Date : 24/1/13

On this date, we started to get the females scene filmed. Within this date, we kept it simple and didn't show the face of the female. We shoot this scene within the 6 form common room, the reason we did this was due to bad weather, but it was simple and we didn't want to show the face of the female, so it didn't matter what location she was in. When we finished editing the female scene, we went back to class and started to save and edit that footage. However we still was carrying on with the other footage, so what we did was started mixing the previous scenes with this one.

On the dates :17/1/13

We started make our production and our short film. Within this date, we went to a house, where our main male characters scene would be shoot. Within this scene we adjusted few areas which we didn't plan, however it went well with our video. When shoot the scene and got the major imporant parts recorded. The team and i head back to class in order to start editing and saving what we started to record.
Within the time we started to record, we started mixing and adjusting some clips in order to make the production more professional.

Filming and Editing 


On the date Thursday 24 January, i have filmed the footage for the female actress.
When filming the footage, i made sure that the female actress face wasn't seen, so at the end the female actress can be shown very well and to show the whole purpose of the one minute film. Also within the other side, there was some editing from the old footage we took on Thursday 17th January

Risk Assessment

Introduction

In this blog post, I will discuss and highlight the risks and health and safety issues for our one minute single camera production.

Risk assessment

1. identify the hazards

The hazards that might be involved within the production of our media product are just minor injuries like tripping over wires and injuring on appliances. But no major harm and hazards will be a threat.

• Park - uneven surfaces/flooring, animals (e.g. dogs and birds), young children and families, park activities/equipment e.g. slide, swings, etc and family accessories, e.g. pushchairs, balls, scooters/bikes.
• Bedroom/house/living room - uneven surfaces, tripping over props e.g. chairs, lifting heavy equipment.
• Restaurant - uneven surfaces, other members of public (disruption and can cause injuries), hot food and drink (burning harm), sharp utensils (knives, forks, etc).

2. decide who might be harmed

The people who may be harmed are the filming crew and the actors/actresses in the product.


3. Precautions and solutions 

The precautions and solutions that we can do to ensure the safety of the people involved in the production of the film are making sure we follow safety procedures when handling goods, and putting up signs and informing people of any hazards available.

Dairy Log - 22/11/12

Within today, i have created a story board to visually show what we would be doing within our production, we also analysis mise - en - scene aspects within our production, indicating that we was looking at the type of clothing, makeup, props, setting and schedule we would be doing and using.
Within these dates the group and i made sure that the schedule was fit for us and that we would be able to create our production on days we are free or aren't busy. The schedule is fit to how we would be laying out the story.
Another aspects within this day i made a budget proposal, this means i was analyzing the financial aspects within our production, how much:
