Pre-production 1.3

Mise – En – Scene

Within this blog post I will be including and discussing the different types of Mise –En – Scene elements we would be using in our one-minute production.
I will be discussing the type of props, settings, structure, Costume (Make up) and characters we would be using within our single camera production.

Props:
§  Computer/Laptop – These props would be used in order to show the element of social networks and the communication they are having through the Internet.
§  Phones (Mobile Phones) – these would be used for other types of communication such as face time, Skype or even normal phone calls.
§  Bedroom Equipment – these would be from school stationery to having laptop chargers, all those typical equipment’s within a teenagers bedroom.
§  Feminine and Masculine products (Make up, Razors etc.) – these would be equipment’s in the bedrooms of each character to show the whole purpose of girls always putting make up on and all sorts.

Disadvantage of these props would be some products would be expensive to hire or get at that time, this indicates that it would make it more harder for the production to go at ease, indicating that the producer would have to use other equipment’s which would make the production less professional
Advantage of these props is that they are showing a more natural and realistic type of environment indicating that it would make the production more of a genuine surrounding and scene.
